Person, Tree, House

First Friday- September 4th-
PoetHouse presents "Person, Tree, House" a group show that expands on a simple, ten minute crayon drawing. Drawing three images- a person, a tree, and a house (accompanied by questions delving into the reasoning for the composition) are often used as a psychological assessment; the resident artists have re-render the original drawings using their own media while retaining the images and the relationships of the original page. How psychologically sound are these artists? Come decide. Opening reception begins at 6pm.

Blue Ribbons, Baby!

Many thousand thanks to ALL our PoHO friends and supporters who took the time to nominate the Poet House for Best Art Gallery in The Source's "best of Bend" awards... We got honorable mention (aka second place) which after only being around a little over a year, is a huge humbling and wonderful thing.
Enjoy the photos from the awards banquet.
